THE HERITAGE FOUNDATION IS ORGANIZED AND OPERATED FOR THE BENEFIT OF CAVE HILL CEMETERY COMPANY AND THE COMMUNITY. THE FOUNDATION WILL ENSURE THAT THE HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL ELEMENTS OF THE CEMETERY ARE PRESERVED. THESE PRESERVATION EFFORTS WILL INCLUDE RESTORATION OF ARTIFACTS, I.E. MONUMENTS, STONE GATING, EDUCATING, AND GENEOLOGICAL AND HISTORICAL RESEARCH ENDEAVORS. FUNDING FROM THE FOUNDATION WILL ALSO BE USED TO PRESERVE THE ARBORETUM AND WILDLIFE HABITAT OF THE CEMETERY.
