THE CHICAGO LATINO THEATER ALLIANCE (CLATA) IS AN ILLINOIS 501(C)(3) NON- PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOUNDED IN 2016, AND A LEADING ADVOCATE FOR A MORE DIVERSE AND INCLUSIVE THEATER COMMUNITY. CLATA ELEVATES, DEVELOPS AND PRESENTS EMERGING AND ESTABLISHED LOCAL LATINE THEATER CREATORS AND COMPANIES TO BUILD A MORE EQUITABLE THEATER LANDSCAPE. CLATA ALSO PRESENTS NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LATINE THEATER TO BRING VISIBILITY TO OUR RICH CULTURAL HERITAGE AND CREATE NETWORKS WITH OUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES.
