TO PROVIDE AN ICE SKATING FACILITY FOR THE YOUTH OF WILKES-BARRE AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES FOR RECREATION AND TO PROVIDE A FACILITY THAT SERVES TO PROMOTE YOUTH AND ADULT HOCKEY AND INTERSCHOLASTIC HOCKEY. THE ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE THE HEALTH AND SOCIAL WELFARE OF THE COMMUNITY AND TO LESSEN THE BURDEN OF GOVERNMENT BY AND EXPANDING ACCESS TO PUBLIC RECREATIONAL AMENITIES AND PROGRAMS THAT SHALL BE AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC WITHOUT REGARD TO RACE, CREED, COLOR OR RELIGION AND TO DO SUCH THINGS AS ARE NECESSARY TO THESE PURPOSES AS WELL AS ANY LAWFUL PURPOSE OR PURPOSES FOR WHICH CORPORATIONS MAY BE INCORPORATED UNDER THE NONPROFIT CORPORATION LAW OF 1988 AS AMENDED.
