DRP is a nonprofit and media development organization that works with people in low and middle income countries running community based media organizations, including radio stations.Developing Radio Partners brings the most important development information to those hardest to reach in sub-Saharan Africa and across the world, using the most widely used medium--radio--by enriching the programming of community based radio stations. We train journalists about climate-smart agriculture, health for women and youth through workshops, weekly bulletins on timely issues with a problem statement and solutions and production tips. We provide funds for community activities and on-site mentoring. As a result, farmers have improved their livelihoods, trees have been planted, cholera reduced and health services made more accessible.
