To implement the aims and purpose of the Criminal Justice Act of 1964, 18 USC Section 3006A, as amended, to operate and administer one or more defender assistance offices to provide assistance to the indigent in Federal Trial Courts and Courts of Appeal within the meaning of 18 USC Section 3006A, and provide educational programs for law students and qualified attorneys in order to advance the administration of criminal justice.
