FLORIDA ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOL SAFETY SPECIALISTS (FS3) WILL PROVIDE A NOT-FOR-PROFIT, PUBLIC PURPOSE ORGANIZATION TO SERVE AS AN INSTRUMENTALITY OF, AND AN AGENT FOR, SCHOOL SAFETY SPECIALISTS IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA. IT IS A NON-POLITICAL, NON-PARTISAN ORGANIZATION TO AID AND ASSIST SCHOOL DISTRICT SCHOOL SAFETY SPECIALISTS TO CARRY OUT THEIR PUBLIC PURPOSE OF PREVENTING VIOLENCE ON SCHOOL GROUNDS AND FUNCTIONS BY EDUCATING AND PROVIDING CERTIFIED TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES; ADVOCATE FOR DISTRICT SCHOOL SAFETY SPECIALISTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE AND FEDERAL LAW; AND COOPERATIVELY WORK WITH PUBLIC OFFICIALS, PUBLIC ORGANIZATIONS, PRIVATE CITIZENS, AND PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS LOCALLY, STATEWIDE, AND NATIONALLY TO STIMULATE AND ENCOURAGE PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT ENHANCING THE ABOVE STATED AIMS.
