FLORIDA CLUB LEAGUE INC (FCL) WAS CREATED TO PROVIDE A STRUCTURE FOR YOUTH SOCCER PLAYERS THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF FLORIDA TO GROW AS ATHLETES BY FACILITATING PARTICIPATION IN STATEWIDE LEAGUE PLAY AND BY HOSTING TOURNAMENTS. FCL IS DESIGNED TO ENABLE YOUNG ATHLETES TO COMPETE AT VARYING LEVELS (DEVELOPMENTAL-ELITE) AND TO ENCOURAGE COMMUNITY SUPPORT OF YOUTH SOCCER. FCL WILL PROVIDE SKILL-LEVEL APPROPRIATE SCHEDULING OF GAMES AND TOURNAMENTS THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF FLORIDA PROMOTING THE DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH OF THE WHOLE ATHLETE. IN ADDITION, FCL WILL OFFER COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS. FCL WILL OFFER NEEDS-BASED SPONSORSHIP OF ATHLETES, COACH TRAINING AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES/EVENTS DESIGNED TO HELP IMPROVE THE SKILLS DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG ATHLETES. FCL WILL ALSO PROVIDE REFEREE TRAINING AND SPONSORSHIP. THE FOCUS OF FCL IS TO PROVIDE WELL-ROUNDED SUPPORT (NOT ONLY ATHLETES, BUT OF COACHES AND REFEREES) OF FLORIDA'S YOUTH SOCCER AND PROMOTE EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION AND SPORTSMANSHIP ALONG
