THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES TO FURTHER OVERSEAS EDUCATION GENERALLY, AND TO IMPROVE EDUCATION IN GUATEMALA SPECIFICALLY. THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO IMPROVE THE EDUCATION OF GUATEMALAN CITIZENS AND TO INCREASE THE AVAILABILITY OF SCHOLARSHIPS TO QUALIFIED GUATEMALAN STUDENTS, IN PARTICULAR THE MAYA AND OTHER RURAL POOR.
