THE FRANCISCAN ACTION NETWORKS (FAN) MISSION IS TO SERVE AS A COLLECTIVE FRANCISCAN VOICE. INSPIRED BY THE GOSPEL OF JESUS AS WELL AS THE EXAMPLE OF ST. FRANCIS AND ST. CLARE OF ASSISI, WE SEEK TO TRANSFORM UNITED STATES PUBLIC POLICY RELATED TO JUSTICE, PEACE, CREATION AND HUMAN DIGNITY. WE ACCOMPLISH THIS BY INFORMING, INSPIRING, CONNECTING, AND ORGANIZING FRANCISCANS FOR CONSTRUCTIVE, PEACEFUL CIVIC ENGAGEMENT THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES.FAN IS BUILDING AN INTERGENERATIONAL FRANCISCAN MOVEMENT THROUGH OUR FRANCISCAN JUSTICE CIRCLES, FRANCISCAN JUSTICE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE, PRAYER VIGILS, AND MANY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS. WE SUPPORT OUR MEMBERSINCLUDING RELIGIOUS COMMUNITIES, YOUNG ADULTS, AND OTHER FRANCISCAN-HEARTED PEOPLEWITH INFORMATION AND SKILLS AS THEY TAKE LOVING ACTION IN THE WORLD ROOTED IN THE GOSPEL AND THE FRANCISCAN TRADITION.
