THE PURPOSES FOR WHICH THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED ARE: (I) CHARITABLE; (II) EDUCATIONAL; WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE, IN ORDER TO SUPPORT, IN ALL ENDEAVORS, THE DUPAGE COUNTY ANIMAL SERVICES, A DEPARTMENT OF THE COUNTY OF DUPAGE, A BODY CORPORATE AND POLITIC IN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS. AND TO PROMOTE THE HUMANE CARE AND TREATMENT OF ANIMALS. FRIENDS OF DUPAGE COUNTY ANIMAL CARE AND CONTROL FOUNDATION IS FORMED EXCLUSIVELY TO CONDUCT THE FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES FOR THE DUPAGE COUNTY ANIMAL SERVICES.
