THE PRIMARY MISSION IS TO PROVIDE VETERINARY CARE, HOUSING AND LOGISTICS SUPPORT TO THE AREA PET ADOPTERS. SPECIFICALLY, BY RESCUING DOGS FROM A FEW SOUTHERN OHIO DOG SHELTERS WHICH SUBSTANTIALLY LACK THE FUNDS TO TAKE CARE OF THE DOGS THEY RESCUED IN A HUMANITARIANWAY. GIGI'S DOG SHELTER WORKS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SOURCE SHELTERS TO MAKE CERTAIN THE RESCUED DOGS ARE HEALTHY WITH VACCINATIONS, DIAGNOSTICS, TREATMENT, NEUTERING, AND OTHER SERVICES. THE DOGS ARE QUARANTINED AT GIGI'S STATE OF THE ART FACILITY FOR A FEW DAYS, WHILEVETERINARIANS AND STAFF MAKE CERTAIN THEY ARE HEALTHY AND READY FOR ADOPTION. THE DOGS ARE THEN DELIVERED TO RESCUE CENTERS WHO HAVE A SOLID REPUTATION FOR FINDING THE DOGS HAPPY FOREVER HOMES WITH CARING PEOPLE AND FAMILIES, IN AND AROUND OHIO.
