HURON AREA CENTER FOR INDEPENDENCE IS COMMITTED TO DEVELOP SERVICES THAT MAKE THE COMMUNITIES OF CHOICE AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE; MAKE INSTITUIONAL AND SEGREGATED ENVIRONMENTS UNNECESSARY AND SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF RELATIONSHIPS IN WHICH ALL PEOPLE ARE RESPECTED AS ESSENTIAL MEMBERS OF THEIR COMMUNITIES.
