JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT'S MISSION IS TO INSPIRE AND PREPARE YOUNG PEOPLE TO SUCCEED IN A GLOBAL ECONOMY. JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT TEACHES STUDENTS IN GRADES K-12 HOW TO MANAGE MONEY, HOW TO PREPARE FOR A CAREER OR COLLEGE, AND HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS. JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT EMPOWERS STUDENTS TO MAKE A CONNECTION BETWEEN WHAT THEY LEARN IN SCHOOL AND HOW IT CAN BE APPLIED IN THE REAL WORLD, THEREBY ENHANCING THE RELEVANCE OF THEIR CLASSROOM LEARNING AND INCREASING THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF THE VALUE OF STAYING IN SCHOOL. OUR RELEVANT EXPERIENTIAL PROGRAMS ARE OFFERED AT LITTLE OR NO COST TO SCHOOLS AND ALIGN WITH NATIONAL AND LOCAL CURRICULUM STANDARDS. DURING THE 2023 SCHOOL YEAR, WE PARTNERED WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS AND OVER 2,757 VOLUNTEERS TO TEACH OUR CURRICULUM TO OVER 66,166 LOCAL STUDENTS IN WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA
