Kentucky Hunters for the Hungry, Inc (KHFH) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, managed by volunteers, and dedicated to the mission of feeding the needy throughout the commonwealth of Kentucky. We are a statewide hunger relief organization dedicated to providing a healthy source of protein to those who might otherwise go without. We accomplish this mission primarily through the following efforts:1. KHFH provides hunters an outlet to help their communities and promote environmental stewardship through wildlife management. We accomplish this by encouraging hunters to donate a harvested deer to one of our independently-operated deer/meat processors located around the commonwealth, and in turn KHFH pays to process that deer into packages of ground venison which is delivered to those in need. For the most part, the ground venison is distributed locally to food pantries in the area in which the deer are harvested. In other situations, areas of greater need are serviced by transporting th
