(LIHP) WAS CREATED TO ADDRESS THE NEED FOR AND TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES ON LONG ISLAND FOR THOSE WHO ARE UNABLE TO AFFORD HOMES, THROUGH DEVELOPMENT, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, MORTGAGE COUNSELING, HOMEBUYER AND FAIR HOUSING EDUCATION AND LENDING PROGRAMS.
