It is the purpose of the Maryland Society of Anesthesiologists to promote patient safety, encourage specialization in the field of anesthesiology, to make available to more people the benefits to be derived from the services of qualified anesthesiologists, to disseminate information regarding anesthesiology, and to stimulate interest in anesthesiology
