THE MISSION OF THE CORPORATION SHALL BE TO FINANCIALLY SUPPORT THE PROVISION OF QUALITY SERVICES FOR CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES, THROUGH COOPERATIVE AND COORDINATED EFFORTS WITH METHODIST HOME FOR CHILDREN ("MHC"), A PENNSYLVANIA NONPROFIT CORPORATION, METHODIST SERVICES, A PENNSYLVANIA NONPROFIT CORPORATION ("MSVCS"), AND OTHER MHC SUBSIDIARIES AS PART OF THE SYSTEM OF CORPORATIONS CONTROLLED BY MHC (TOGETHER TO BE CALLED HEREIN THE "MHC SYSTEM"), BY ACQUIRING, HOLDING, INVESTING AND MANAGING ASSETS AND MAKING GRANTS TO SUPPORT THE WORK OF THE MHC SYSTEM.
