OPERATE A THRIFT STORE TO 'RECYCLE' DONATED CLOTHING, HOUSEHOLD GOODS AND FURNITURE. COSTS AND PRICES FOR MERCHANDISE WILL REMAIN LOW THROUGH LOWER WAGES OF STAFF, VOLUNTEERS, LOW RENT OR OVERHEAD AND COST-SAVINGS MEASURES. MILLIE'S THRIFT STORES' INCOME WILL ENABLE MILLIE'S TO CONTINUE SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY BY HELPING HOMELESS CLIENTS HAVE THE HOUSEHOLD GOODS AND FURNITURE WHEN THEY ARE READY FOR AN APARTMENT, ENABLE A FAMILY TO CLOTHE THEIR CHILDREN, PROVIDE INTERVIEW OR WORK CLOTHING AND HELP SENIORS WITH NECESSITIES. A VOUCHER PROGRAM WILL ENABLE NONPROFITS TO SEND THEIR CLIENTS TO THE STORE. MILLIE'S WILL USE THE SAVINGS TO HELP THOSE IN NEED SUCH AS TEACHERS, JOB TRAINING AND CLIENTS OF NONPROFITS.
