THE PURPOSE OF THE NEW MEXICO CHILD FIRST NETWORK IS TO SUPPORT CHILDREN AND THEIR CARETAKERS IN THE NEW MEXICO CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES CARE AND CUSTODY. THE PRIMARY GOAL IS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND TRAINING TO CAREGIVERS AND CHILDREN IN CARE. NEW MEXICO CHILD FIRST NETWORK WILL PROVIDE ENRICHING PROGRAMS, SERVICES AND ADVOCACY TO EMPOWER FAMILIES AND YOUTH TO THRIVE. TO ENSURE THAT ALL CHILDREN IN CARE RECEIVE THE BEST CARE AVAILABLE. NEW MEXICO CHILD FIRST NETWORK WILL ALSO RECRUIT, TRAIN, SUPPORT AND RETAIN MORE FOSTER AND ADOPTIVE PARENTS FOR CHILDREN IN THE SYSTEM.
