Mission
THE NORTH TEXAS PANTRY HAS BEEN SERVING THE PEOPLE OF NORTH TEXAS SINCE 1979, AS AN OUTREACH OF FLORAL HEIGHTS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH. IN 2015, THE PANTRY FORMED AS A SEPARATE 501 (C) 3, THE FLORAL HEIGHTS COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY. TO BETTER REFLECT THEIR EXPANDED OUTREACH, THE NAME WAS CHANGED IN 2017 TO NORTH TEXAS PANTRY. THE NORTH TEXAS PANTRY REMAINS DEDICATED TO FEEDING THE HUNGRY.
