TO PROVIDE MEMBERS OF THE INTERNATIONAL UNION OF OPERATING ENGINEERS A MEANS TO OBTAIN VALID AND RELIABLE CERTIFICATION THAT ACCURATELY ASSESSES THEIR COMPETENCE IN CRANE OPERATIONS, THEREBY DIRECTLY PROMOTING A SAFER JOBSITE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE WORKER, THE PUBLIC, AND THE INDUSTRY.
