ITS PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO SUPPORT EDUCATIONAL AND HUMANITARIAN PROJECTS WITHIN THE HAZLETON AREA COMMUNITY, DEFINED BY THE BOUNDARIES OF THE HAZLETON AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT AND THE WEATHERLY AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT. SECONDARILY, THE FUND MAY SUPPORT CHARITABLE PROJECTS BEYOND THOSE GEOGRAPHIC BOUNDARIES.
