THE FUND IS INTENDED TO PROVIDE A DISTINCT LEGAL ENTITY INTO WHICH MONIES MAY BE CONTRIBUTED FOR THE EXCLUSIVE PURPOSE OF CREATING AND ADMINISTERING AN EMPLOYEE WELFARE BENEFIT PLAN PROVIDING APPRENTICESHIP AND TRAINING FOR THE BENEFIT OF PARTICIPANTS AND THEIR BENEFICIARIES, AND FOR DEFRAYING REASONABLE EXPENSES OF ADMINISTRATION.
