PHILADELPHIA YOUTH NETWORK (PYN) BUILDS AN EQUITABLE AND INCLUSIVE YOUTH WORKFORCE IN PHILADELPHIA BY CREATING PATHWAYS TO EDUCATIONAL AND WORKFORCE SUCCESS. WE SEEK TO ALLEVIATE A ROOT CAUSE OF POVERTY BY HELPING YOUNG ADULTS ATTAIN JOBS OF THEIR CHOOSING BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE RESOURCES, SKILLS, AND CONFIDENCE NEEDED TO SUCCEED. PYN ACCOMPLISHES ITS MISSION THROUGH FOUR IMPACT AREAS SERVING YOUTH AGES 12-24 ALONG THE CAREER READINESS CONTINUUM: 1) OUT OF SCHOOL TIME PROGRAMS FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH; 2) WORK-BASED LEARNING PROGRAMS THAT CONNECT HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH TO INTERNSHIPS AND OTHER WORK-BASED LEARNING EXPERIENCES; 3) CAREER PLACEMENT PROGRAMS THAT PROVIDE HOLISTIC PRE-EMPLOYMENT TRAINING, CAREER COACHING, AND CREDENTIALING OPPORTUNITIES TO SECURE FULL-TIME, BENEFIT-BEARING JOBS ALONG A CAREER PATH; AND
