RIDEFINDERS IS ORGANIZED FOR THE PURPOSE OF FOSTERING A TOTAL COMMUNITY EFFORT TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL POSSIBLE TYPES OF RIDESHARING ACTIVITIES. RIDESHARING SHALL BE DEFINED TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, CARPOOLS, VANPOOLS, BUSPOOLS, AND TRADITIONAL TRANSIT. RIDEFINDERS WILL ADVOCATE AND PROMOTE RIDESHARING TO: CONSERVE FOSSIL FUELS; IMPROVE AIR QUALITY; REDUCE NOISE POLLUTION; REDUCE TRAFFIC CONGESTION; AND HELP EMPLOYERS AND INDIVIDUALS REDUCE THEIR TRANSPORTATION-RELATED EXPENDITURES.
