ROATAN HAS A LARGE COMMUNITY OF UNWANTED & ABANDONED ANIMALS. EVEN WHEN THEY ARE WELL TAKEN CARE OF, ANIMALS IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES ARE STILL AT RISK DUE TO LACK OF ACCESSIBLE VET CARE, THE INABILITY OF MANY FAMILIES TO SPAY/NEUTER THEIR PETS, & TRANSIENT VISITORS ABANDONING ANIMALS WHEN THEY MOVE. BY PROVIDING SPAY/NEUTER ASSISTANCE, DAILY CARE, SOCIALIZATION, ADOPTION, WE HOPE TO FOSTER & IMPROVE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THESE ANIMALS AND THE ISLAND COMMUNITY.
