GOAL - THE GENERAL AREAS OF FOCUS FOR GRANTS FROM THE ENDOWMENT SHALL BE ADDRESSING THE ISSUES OF SPRINGFIELD AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY, INCLUDING: POVERTY, CHILDREN'S ISSUES, CHILD ABUSE, HOUSING HUNGER, HEALTH, HYGIENE, EDUCATION, SAFETY, AND ROTARY'S SIX AREAS OF FOCUS, INCLUDING PEACE AND CONFLICT PREVENTION/RESOLUTION, DISEASE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT, WATER AND SANITATION, MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH, BASIC EDUCATION AND LITERACY, AND ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.
