Rural Dog Rescue saves the lives of high risk dogs in economically challenged shelters in rural areas of the country. Our mission is to save the dogs that are at greatest risk of euthanasia and are the most overlooked dogs in the shelter. This includes but is not limited to: hounds, black dogs, seniors, and dogs that are sick, handicapped, or injured. Rural Dog Rescue is 100% volunteer and foster based and relies on donations.
