THE SAINT FRANCIS THRIFT STORE IS A MATERIAL ASSISTANCE MINISTRY. THIS ASSISTANCE IS GIVEN IN TWO FORMS. OUR DIRECT MINISTRY IS AN "EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE" PROGRAM. WE PROVIDE WITHOUT CHARGE FOOD AND CLOTHING TO PEOPLE IN CRISIS SITUATIONS WHO ARE REFERRED TO US THROUGH A PASTORAL REFERRAL SYSTEM OR BY THE RED CROSS. ORU INDIRECT MINISTRY SERVES THE POOR. FOR THOSE SUFFERING FROM LIMITED RESOURCES, WE PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE BASIC HUMAN NEEDS AT A FRACTION OF THEIR NORMAL RETAIL.
