THE TRUST WAS FORMED FOR THE CHARITABLE PURPOSE OF SUPPORTING ONE OR MORE OF THE SUPPORTED COLLEGES, EACH OF WHICH IS A PUBLIC CHARITY, TO CARRY OUT CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES. THE SUPPORTED COLLEGES ARE: (1) THE PRESIDENT AND TRUSTEES OF BATES COLLEGE, OF LEWISTON, MAINE, (2) CARLETON COLLEGE OF NORTHFIELD, MINNESOTA, (3) KENYON COLLEGE, OF GAMBIER, OHIO, (4) TUFTS UNIVERSITY, OF SOMERVILLE, MASSACHUSETTS, AND (5) THE TRUSTEES OF UNION COLLEGE OF SCHENECTADY, NEW YORK. THE TRUST'S ACTIVITIES ARE TO MAKE DISTRIBUTIONS EXCLUSIVELY TO THE SUPPORTED COLLEGES, SPECIFICALLY TO FURTHER THE PURPOSES OF THE SCHULER ACCESS INITIATIVE AIMED AT INCREASING ACCESS TO COLLEGE BY NEEDY INDIVIDUALS, TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF UNDOCUMENTED AND PELL GRANT-ELIGIBLE LOW-INCOME STUDENTS ATTENDING SUPPORTED COLLEGES, AND TO FURTHER EDUCATIONAL GOALS OF THE SUPPORTED COLLEGES, ALL AS DETERMINED BY THE TRUSTEES. THE TRUST WILL DEDICATED 100 PERCENT OF ITS TIME AND EXPENSES TO THESE ACTIVITIES.
