The mission of Shipley Center is to enrich the lives of adults through social, health and fitness activities, trips, educational classes, low-income housing opportunities and referrals to community resources. As part of our mission to provide "low-income housing opportunities", Sequim Senior Services operates Baywood Village as a non-profit age 55+ adult mobile home community donated to our organization in July of 2013. To assist low income seniors, our mission is to rent the spaces in Baywood Village at the lowest rental rate available in the Sequim area. Currently the rent is $385 per month and includes water and septic services. In addition, all residents of Baywood Village are given a free membership to Shipley Center to provide opportunities for them to participate in enriching activities. Monies received in excess of the expenes of running Baywood Village and it's services are used towards our overall non-profit mission. Our organization opened a non-profit cafe in May of 2016 to
