TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS AND LOANS TO RESIDENTS OF SOUTHSIDE VIRGINIA WHO HAVE THE DESIRE AND AMBITION TO BECOME HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS BUT WHO LACK SUFFICIENT FINANCIAL RESOURCES. SHEF ALSO SERVES AS A RESOURCE FOR INFORMATION THAT SUPPORTS HEALTH CARE OPPORTUNITIES IN OUR COMMUNITY.
