Mission

SEAU'S PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES TO STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS ACROSS THE STATE OF UTAH. WE DO THIS BY HOSTING AN ANNUAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE AS WELL AS SEVERAL EVENING SEMINARS THAT ALLOW ENGINEERS TO EARN THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT HOURS THEY NEED TO MAINTAIN THEIR CERTIFICATIONS. WE ALSO PROVIDE THREE SCHOLARSHIPS A YEAR TO BYU, U OF U, AND USU TO ASPIRING ENGINEERS. AND LAST, WE THROW AN OPENING SOCIAL EVENT EACH YEAR TO ALLOW ENGINEERS TO NETWORK AND CONNECT WITH OTHER ENGINEERS IN THE STATE.
