FOUNDED IN 1989 AND NAMED FOR THE COMMON ANCESTOR OF JEWS AND ARABS, THE ABRAHAM INITIATIVES IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT, NON-PARTISAN, ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO ADVANCING COEXISTENCE AND EQUALITY AMONG ISRAEL'S JEWISH AND ARAB CITIZENS, BY PROMOTING POLICIES BASED ON INNOVATIVE SOCIAL MODELS, CONDUCTING LARGE SCALE INITIATIVES, ADVOCACY AND PUBLIC EDUCATION.
