The Peace Appeal works to catalyze social and political change processes to lay the groundwork for sustainable,just peace.To this end we collaborate with individuals, groups and institutions both to prevent and transform often violent political conflict and to ameliorate its worst effects among affected populations, particularly children. Our collaborative efforts begin with requests for assistance from local stakeholders, to whom we offer sustained partnership.Our commitment to these local stakeholders is long term, embedded in the philosophy of accompaniment.We offer expertise and assistance from our network of associates and partners,occasional direct financial support, as well as aid in building partner and donor networks that often include other global as well as national supporting institutions.
