Kapp's mission is to promote and assist more than 100 agencies and entities that take care of some 12,000 individuals in Kentucky with significant intellectual and developmental disabilities, multiples of whose disabilities are severe--they cannot take care of themselves. Kapp provides current information on governmental programs and a network among its members via an annual convention and news dissemination. All of which are part of its mission to organize private providers in the disability community to be powerful voices for political, economic, and social change for these disabled individuals.
