THE URBAN LACROSSE ACADEMY IS TO EXPOSE THE UNDERSERVED YOUTH WITHIN URBAN COMMUNITIES TO THE GAME OF LACROSSE AND ITS NATIVE AMERICAN ROOTS AS THE "MEDICINE GAME," FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING PHYSICAL AND MENTAL CONDITIONING THROUGH ON AND OFF THE FIELD EDUCATION BY MENTOR INSTRUCTORS THAT CAN, IN TURN, CREATE OPPORTUNITIES IN THE CLASSROOM AND BEYOND. OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE LACROSSE SKILLS TRAINING, LEAGUE PLAY, AND MENTORING TO UNDERSERVED YOUTH.
