TO MAINTAIN COMPUTER DATABASE/NETWORK MAINTAINED FOR AREA MEMBER LIBRARIES. THE CONSORTIUM PROVIDES SHARED AUTOMATED LIBRARY SERVICES AND OTHER COOPERATIVE PROGRAMS FOR SUCH THINGS AS COLLECTIONS, MATERIALS AND RECORDS SO THAT THE INDIVIDUAL LIBRARY DOES NOT BEAR THE ENTIRE COST OF SUCH A SYSTEM.
