PRIVATE CONTRIBUTIONS ARE NECESSARY TO SUPPORT THE PROGRAMS AND VISION OF THE UNIVERSITY. ITS PRIVATE STATUS ENSURES THE DONOR'S RIGHT OF ANONYMITY AND ITS ABILITY TO SUPPORT THE UNIVERSITY'S MISSION. THE FOUNDATION FURTHER SEEKS TO BUILD AND FOSTER RELATIONSHIPS WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CONSTITUENCIES, WHICH MUTUALLY BENEFIT THE UNIVERSITY, THE WICHITA COMMUNITY, AND THE STATE OF KANSAS.
