Mission
TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF THE PEOPLE IN WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA, WITH PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON THOSE LIVING IN AVERY, MITCHELL, AND YANCEY COUNTIES. IN DOING SO, THE FOUNDATION WILL MAKE GRANTS TO ELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS THAT WORK TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF THE PEOPLE IN THOSE AREAS.
