THE ORGANIZATION IS A NON-PARTISAN RESEARCH INSTITUTE AND THINK TANK. IT IS DEDICATED TO ADVANCING THE PUBLIC INTEREST THROUGH MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY AND POLICY. IT SUPPORTS GOVERNMENT AGENCIES BY CONDUCTING APPLIED RESEARCH AND INNOVATIONS TO ADDRESS THE NATIONS CRITICAL DEFENSE-RELATED PRODUCTION CHALLENGES. THIS IS ACHIEVED THROUGH FEDERALLY SPONSORED CONTRACTING COOPERATIVE RESEARCH AND PARTNERSHIPS
