ALP's primary purpose is to provide educational training for community leadership staff and professionals. Community leadership programs/organizations average three full time staff, including the manager and programmer. Leadership organizations/programs average 30 participants each year and have multiple program offerings benefitting an average of 500-800 participants annually. The majority of which expand 9-10 months of training and education. Participants learn leadership skills, tackle tough issues in their communities, and become better prepared to enhance the effectiveness of their communities.
