COALITION FOR RESPONSIBLE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, ("CRCD"), AND SUBSIDIARIES ("THE ORGANIZATION") IS A CALIFORNIA NONPROFIT CORPORATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO BETTER SUSTAIN, COORDINATE, AND IMPROVE LOCAL PLANNING, DEVELOPMENT, AND COMMUNITY SERVICES THAT ADDRESS THE NEEDS OF LOW-INCOME RESIDENTS AND SMALL BUSINESSES IN SOUTH LOS ANGELES. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS FOCUSED ON HELPING TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR LOW AND MODERATE-INCOME RESIDENTS LIVING AND WORKING IN DETERIORATING NEIGHBORHOODS THROUGHOUT SOUTH LOS ANGELES BY ENGAGING IN COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION AND LEADERSHIP ACTIVITIES THAT CREATE ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES, PROMOTING SAFETY AND SECURITY IN THE NEIGHBORHOODS, LIVING WAGE JOBS, AFFORDABLE HOUSING, AND ALL THE OTHER IMPORTANT SUPPORTIVE SERVICES A COMMUNITY NEEDS TO THRIVE.
