Connecting Kids Inside Out programs expands access of historically underserved producers and underserved communities to conservation assistance and promoting opportunities for students to pursue careers in agriculture, natural resources, and related sciences by (1) promoting and strengthening relationships between NRCS and Black, Indigenous, and People of Color farmers and producers; (2) provide training and technical assistance to promote conservation in small scale and urban agriculture; (3) provide educational experiences that increase awareness of the interconnectedness of agriculture and natural resources.
