THE FOUNDATION FULFILS ITS PURPOSE BY PURSUING THE GOALS OF THE UNITED NATIONS POPULATION FUND (UNFPA). IN THIS CONTEXT, IT PERFORMS THE FOLLOWING TASKS:(1) FOSTERING DEMAND FOR, AND ACCESS TO, HEALTH INFORMATION, HEALTH SUPPLIES, AND YOUTH-FRIENDLY SERVICES, PARTICULARLY FOR SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH.(2)ADVANCING THE RESPECT AND PROTECTION OF SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH AND RIGHTS (SRHR), WITH A FOCUS ON ELIMINATING GENDER RELATED DISCRIMINATION AND INEQUALITY. (3)EMPOWERING YOUNG PEOPLE TO MAKE THEIR VOICES HEARD IN DECISION-MAKING PROCESSES AT THE LOCAL, NATIONAL, AND GLOBAL LEVELS.(4)ENHANCING ACCESS TO SOCIO-ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES FOR VULNERABLE YOUNG PEOPLE.
