EASTERN MARKET HAS DEVELOPED A CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN AND IS IMPLEMENTING A SERIES OF CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS TO IMPROVE THE MARKET'S ABILITY TO SERVE AS A FOOD CENTER FOR DETROIT AND AS A CATALYST FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.
