The Trust will prepare a skilled Alaska workforce through the development and delivery of comprehensive and integrated career and technical education programs, including providing opportunities for Alaskans to enter federally registered apprenticeship programs in the building, highway and pipeline industry.Program activities will be conducted in cooperation with U.S. Department of Labor federally certified training and apprenticeship programs, Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Alaska Workforce Investment Board, construction and oil and gas industry pipeline employers, labor unions, native and tribal organizations, and educational institutions.
