WE BELIEVE THAT VETERANS POSSESS THE UNIQUE SKILLS AND CHARACTER NEEDED TO STRENGTHEN RURAL COMMUNITIES AND CREATE SUSTAINABLE FOOD SYSTEMS. WE BELIEVE THAT AGRICULTURE OFFERS PURPOSE, OPPORTUNITY, AND PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL BENEFITS.FARMER VETERAN COALITION WAS FORMED TO HELP AT-RISK VETERANS AS THEY RE-ENTER CIVILIAN SOCIETY BY CONNECTING THEM WITH MEANINGFUL AND STABLE CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR, AND TO HELP VETERANS WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM PARTICULARLY SEVERE COMBAT-RELATED INJURIES TO LOCATE SERVICES AND THERAPY OPTIONS THAT WILL ENABLE THEM TO THRIVE.
