THE HERITAGE CHRISTIAN SERVICES FOUNDATION CONTINUES TO RAISE MONEY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE SUPPORTED BY HERITAGE CHRISTIAN SERVICES. THE FOUNDATION HELPS FUND INITIATIVES THAT INCLUDE THE HOMES WITH HEART CAPITAL CAMPAIGN, WORKFORCE SUPPORT, THE EMPLOYER RESOURCE NETWORK, AND QUALITY OF LIFE PROGRAMS FOR PEOPLE WITH INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. THE HOMES WITH HEART CAMPAIGN WENT PUBLIC IN JUNE 2023 WITH A FUNDRAISING GOAL OF $9.1 MILLION. THE MISSION OF THE CAMPAIGN IS TO INCREASE THE LIVABILITY AND ACCESSIBILITY OF RESIDENTIAL HOMES. MORE THAN HALF OF THE PEOPLE LIVING IN HERITAGE CHRISTIAN SERVICES RESIDENCES HAVE MEDICAL COMPLEXITIES, AND MORE THAN 60% ARE MORE THAN 50 YEARS OLD. HOME MODIFICATIONS ARE ESSENTIAL SO THAT PEOPLE CAN FACE THE CHALLENGES OF AGING WITH DIGNITY AND HAVE UP-TO-DATE SYSTEMS TO ASSIST THEM IN EMERGENCIES.
