THE ORGANIZATION WAS ESTABLISHED TO UNITE THE COMMUNITY BY CONNECTING A NETWORK OF LOCAL CHURCHES AND MOBILIZING PEOPLE AND RESOURCES IN ACTS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE INCLUDING BEING READY TO RESPOND IN THE EVENT OF A NATURAL DISASTER. HLCN PRIMARILY FOCUSES ON ENDING GENERATIONAL POVERTY BY SERVING VULNERABLE FAMILIES, WOMEN AND CHILDREN.
